3D Animation
The 3D Animation Certification requires an intensive nine-month long program where students become digital animators. Through hands-on practice in creating 3D models, animations, and scenes, students master the most current and utilized software, Alias/Wavefront Maya 3D program. Focus of the students’ skills is practical, real-world applications. Fundamentals of figure drawing and composition are also delivered. Students are encouraged to work on the elements needed to create their own short animated subject so they will have a completed short (with necessary models and textures) that can be utilized as a demo reel or added to their portfolio.
